Hello world!

Well this is exciting – a new blog!

I’ve been planning to do this for a while. I need a place to keep track of my projects, document the new tricks that I learn, and just rant, like I always do.

So I guess a good start will be to talk briefly about the setup here: Paisley is a small computer that I built and is sitting on my desk. It runs most of my projects and is visible to the world using dynamic DNS, a service I bought form no-ip.com.

I installed WordPress by following this simple tutorial, breaking it by trying to change the password for wpuser, uninstalling and reinstalling. Just another normal day at the office.
